MetaTrader FAQ
Is MT4 still better than MT5?
MT4 is widely loved for its simplicity and huge library of custom indicators (EAs). However, MT5 is technically superior in speed and asset variety. Most beginners still start with MT4.
Can I use MT4/MT5 on my phone?
Yes. There are mobile apps for both iOS and Android. They are great for monitoring trades, but we recommend a Desktop for serious technical analysis.
Are these platforms free to use?
Yes. Brokers cover the licensing costs. You will never be asked to pay monthly fees just to use the MT4/MT5 terminal.
Why is my connection status 'No Connection'?
This usually happens if you entered the wrong account number, password, or server name. Ensure you are using the exact server provided by your broker.
